The Plena Voice Alarm Controller is the central component of the Plena Voice Alarm System, designed for full compliance with EN 54‑16 and EN 60849 standards. It incorporates essential functionalities like system supervision, loudspeaker line impedance monitoring, a front-panel emergency microphone, and a supervised message manager.

Messages can be merged for flexible use of pre-recorded announcements and evacuation messages. Operates as a standalone system with up to six zones or expands to 120 zones using additional routers. Connects up to eight call stations via standard RJ45 connectors and shielded CAT-5 cables.

Configurable via DIP switches. Managed through PC software provided on a companion CD, which also includes tools like MP3-ripping software and audio utilities. Two BGM source inputs, one mic/line input with priority configuration, speech filters, phantom power, and VOX activation. Six transformer-isolated 100 V outputs for individual zones, with separate 100 V call-only output for priority announcements in areas without BGM. Integrated LED power meter and volume override outputs for ensuring priority messages.

Up to 255 messages in 16 MB flash memory, supporting WAV format at sample rates from 8 kHz to 24 kHz. Twelve configurable inputs for business and emergency calls, enabling sequences of up to eight WAV files for message flexibility. Power meter, fault LEDs, emergency and zone status indicators. Zone select buttons, BGM volume and tone controls, alert and emergency state buttons, and an all-call button.
