PRS-NCO3 Praesideo Network Controller
The Network Control Unit (NCU) is the core of the Praesideo system, managing up to 28 simultaneous audio channels, delivering power, fault reporting, and overall system control. Designed for versatility, the NCU supports various audio inputs, including call station announcements, background music, and local audio. Configuring the unit is simple and efficient using a PC, though it operates independently once set up. It can display real-time system status via its included software and is adaptable for tabletop or 19″ rack mounting.
Praesideo PRS-NCO3
Requires Praesideo software version 4.0 or higher. 4 inputs (2 mic/line selectable, 2 fixed line inputs). Mic/line inputs support conditional programming for control actions and priority settings. Line inputs include 20 kHz pilot tone detection for cable monitoring. 4 line outputs with optional 20 kHz monitoring signal. Outputs can connect to visual and audible fault indicators. 3 programmable outputs for faults or calls. 2 dedicated for external fault or emergency indicators.
24 Vdc output for external devices such as fault or emergency lights. The unit is fully configurable via supplied software for efficient setup. Post-configuration, the system operates independently of the PC. With a 2 x 16-character LCD display and rotary control knob for menu navigation and status monitoring. Supports up to 60 nodes, including amplifiers, audio expanders, and call stations.
