Conventional Transponder/Monitor Modules FMM-1
The FMM-1Â is a standard-sized module (typically mounts to a 4-inch [10.16 cm] square box) designed to supervise a Style D (Class A) or Style B (Class B) circuit of dry-contact input devices.
Monitor Modules FMM-1
A conventional transponder or monitor Modules FMM-1 serves as an interface between traditional fire alarm systems and control units. Monitor Modules FMM-1 monitors specific zones or circuits for any abnormal conditions—such as smoke or heat triggers—and communicates these alerts to the main control panel. By detecting and reporting the status of each connected device, it enables rapid response to emergencies.
Each FMM-1(A) uses one of the available modules addresses on an SLC loop. It responds to regular polls from the control panel and reports its type and the status (open/normal/short) of its Initiating Device Circuit (IDC). A flashing LED indicates that the module is in communication with the control panel. The LED latches steady on alarm (subject to current limitations on the loop).
