HT/D Transmitter and RH Sensor
The HT/D Transmitter and RH Sensor is an advanced transmitter used to measure and transmit data on temperature and dew point. Equipped with precision sensors, these transmitters are often integrated with analog or digital outputs for seamless data communication to monitoring systems. In the realm of environmental monitoring and industrial automation, the HT/D Transmitter and RH Sensor are vital components. They are designed to provide accurate measurements of temperature (HT/D) and relative humidity (RH), ensuring optimized performance across diverse applications.
This HT/D Transmitter and RH Sensor relative humidity and temperature for HVAC applications. The 2% (/2%) certified and standard versions offer excellent linearity and stability on Relative Humidity (10 to 90%RH). The HT/D humidity and temperature sensor can be used in various HVAC applications, operating over a range of 0 to 100%RH (non-condensing). The resistive polymer on the humidity sensing element provides excellent stability and linearity over time.
The HT/D sensor provides 3% humidity measurement accuracy from 10 to 90%RH and the HT/D/2% sensor provides 2% humidity accuracy from 0 to 90%RH and 3% from 90 to 100%RH. Both provide 4-20mA output signals (corresponding to 0 to 100%RH). The HT/D/2% sensor incorporates a platinum temperature sensor (PT1000) with a 4-20mA output signal (corresponding to 0 to +40°C), however the standard HT/D directly integrates a thermistor type sensor.
HT/D Transmitter and RH Sensor’s Calculation
The humidity sensor part of the HT/D probe can be manually calibrated by the user. This involves keeping the probe and the reference humidity chamber in the same chamber for at least 4 hours before calibration. The humidity chamber must be thoroughly cleaned before use. The humidity probe sensor must be placed in the humidity chamber at least 30 minutes before calibration. Clogs must be replaced before calibration.
During calibration, the temperature must be kept constant. The HT/D Transmitter and RH Sensor can be calibrated in two ways: Calibration with a humidity point: It is quick and simple. It should be used when the working range is limited to a narrow range around the nominal humidity point. This form of calibration decreases the accuracy of the rest of the working range.
Calibration with two humidity points: It should be used for fine adjustment over the entire working range of the sensor, or for calibration if the sensor has been replaced. The sensor is calibrated, first at the bottom of the humidity range, then at the top of the range. The difference between the levels should be greater than 30% RH.
HT/D Transmitter and RH Sensor’s maintenance
Remove dust, check accuracy and calibration of the HT/D probe covered in the installation instruction sheet. The sensor accuracy should be checked every year. If the probe is no longer highly accurate, replace the filter and recalibrate it.
HT/D Transmitters and RH Sensors play a crucial role in various industries and environmental monitoring applications. By providing accurate and reliable measurements of humidity and temperature, these transmitter enable improved process control, enhanced efficiency, and better decision-making.
